Today, I’m introducing a second website.

https://thetravelingbornsteins.com will work in tandem with https://sandrabornstein.com. My first website will showcase my award-winning memoir, May This Be the Best Year of Your Life. It will also be the hub for my blog writing—from lifestyle topics to interviews to stories from places around the world.

Life events may periodically cause delays in posting. I will do my best to provide quality content as often as possible. I agree with Ovid, a Roman poet (43 BCE-17 CE):

“At times it is folly to hasten at other times, to delay. The wise do everything in its proper time.”

The proper time for launching the travel website is now. The proper time for new content will be soon.

Since my special birthday trip to Vancouver Island in September, I’ve dealt with orthopedic issues. Despite the continuous discomfort, I persevered. I traveled to Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, and India. I wrote about some of my experiences. My list of potential stories continues to grow. I’m planning to write more travel stories soon. Some will appear here while others may be published elsewhere. Additionally, I will be sharing helpful tips for people suffering from leg, knee, and foot injuries. I had knee surgery in February and foot surgery in May. Stay tuned. These health and fitness postings will appear on this website.

After my Indian expat experience and Ira’s traumatic ski accident, we reevaluated our priorities. As often as possible, we’re exploring the world. While I don’t usually quote children’s book authors, Dr. Seuss succinctly captures the essence of our thinking.

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You’re on your own, and you know what you know. And you are the guy who’ll decide where to go.   Dr. Seuss

Like most people we have our bucket list of destinations. But, we are always open to exploring unfamiliar places.

I created the travel website and the new Instagram account so that followers could see an overview of these adventures.

This new website allows our travel audience direct access to samples of our content and photos. Simultaneously, prospective magazines, online travel and lifestyle sites, destinations, public relations companies, tourist boards, and convention and visitor bureaus can see writing and photo samples.

Each month, we will be adding content and photos.

Based on experience, I know that it will take time before the search engines find the new website. Please help with this process. It would be awesome if you could share and/or create links to https://thetravelingbornsteins.com.

I’d love to hear your feedback. Please post your comments on the new site. As always, I thank you for your support.
