On the last day of my virtual book tour, May This Be the Best Year of Your life is reviewed by Ekta Garg at The Write Edge Bookshelf. Ekta reviews May This Be the Best Year of Your Life from an Indian perspective.
Both of her parents are Indian. Ekta was raised in the US, but has made frequent trips back to India. As a result, her perception of the book will be slightly different from most American readers. While my main audience are westerners, I welcome feedback from people with Indian heritage.
Ekta has worked professionally since 2005 as a writer and editor for Community Newspapers, Inc., in Portland, Oregon, ABCDlady.com, and http://www.thebollywoodticket.com. In addition to managing The Write Edge Bookshelf, she keeps track of her other blogs: The Write Edge (thewriteedge.wordpress.com,); Growth Chart (thewriteedgegrowthchart.wordpress.com,) where she posts her experiences in parenting; and American Kismet — A Novel (americankismet.wordpress.com,) a free subscription blog where readers can access Ekta’s first novel. Ekta also reviews books for http://www.bookpleasures.com and adds to the well-known site her own thoughtful reviews of books for the reading public at large.
I encourage my readers to visit Ekta’s sites.
Ekta’s review is also posted at Book Pleasures.
Later in the day, Ekta posted my answers to her interview questions. Learn more about my India adventure by reading the interview.
