During my virtual book tour, I had the distinct pleasure of being interviewed by a wide variety of individuals, writing guest blogs, and also having my book reviewed and/or recommended. I appreciate the kindness extended by my hosts. I realize that each was willing to participate even though we had never met. Most took the time to read my book, and all shared the spotlight with me. My January virtual book tour was an excellent illustration of how social media can effectively connect people.
As a result of this positive experience, I decided to see what it was like to be on the other side of the fence. Instead of being the interviewee, I have opted to try my hand at being the interviewer. In the coming weeks, I will be participating in a few Goddess Fish Blog Tours. The author interviews will be a new addition to my blog.
I will be receiving complimentary books from Goddess Fish and then creating interview questions. I may be eligible for a random drawing. However, I will not be paid directly. I will be volunteering my time to read the book, create questions, and format the blog posting. I will post the responses at prearranged points in time. It is my intention to expose my audience to authors who have recently published quality books.
Tomorrow, I will be posting my first interview.
