Travel and mingling around others have ground to a halt as the COVID-19 virus spreads across the world. Until the medical communities and governments decide when borders can reopen, most people are adhering to the “stay at home” and “sheltering in” orders that permeate society. Avid travelers are using their images to recall amazing adventures and also researching destinations for upcoming journeys. All are awaiting the day when airlines, hotels and resorts, cruise lines, and destinations will entice people to resume their love of travel.
In the meantime, websites throughout the world are creating virtual opportunities to explore their venues. Denver is just one example. With an online resource called #VirtuallyDenver, it is possible to visit Denver attractions from the comfort of your home without stepping outside. For a complete list, check out the VisitDenver blog and Denver Virtual & Online website page.
These web pages offer numerous suggestions. After reading through the list, I’m showcasing a few.
